PEACE OUT 2012 HI HI 2013!!!!!

Hi Hi! DAMN 2012 is over, and these first few days of 2013 have already been NUTS! I have been such a slacker on here but I'm back on! I promise! A new committed me for 2013! Last year was a hard year, a real year of laying all the foundations of what's hopefully set to become a wonderful 2013.

PAINTED TRUTHS BY MARGOT BOWMAN

I posted my 'painted truth' that Margot did of me well over a year ago now but she's done a few more since that I haven't had a chance to post. For those new to the series we all picked a quote that felt personal to us and was something we lived by and dear Margot painted it on us. I feel connected to each photograph and every quote. So simple and beautiful, it's just such a wonderful photo series. I'm lucky enough to call Margot a close friend, but keep your eye on her she is a serious 'one to watch' and all round super soul filled beautiful human being.

My birthday fell on Friday the 13th this year so decided to throw do a black friday dinner party!

I fell in love with a beautiful photography book by Daniele Tamgani about this amazing group of men in the Congo that call themselves the 'Sapeurs'. Their amazing style is also based on strict rules of elegance, beauty and harmony of colours. I always think back to this book and I'm so happy to see it brought to life in this adorable Solange video.
